The Keijzer Racing company is owned and
founded by Willemjan Keijzer in 2006. Willemjan started
karting in 1988. In his first season he won the Dutch
Championship already. In 1995, his first full international
season, Willemjan won the European Championship for Juniors
as a Haase / Titan semi-works driver.
After the successes of 1995, he became official driver of
the Tibikart Factory Team in the Formula A. After 3 years of
competing in the Formula, he made the step to the former top
class Formula Super A with Tibikart, also as factory driver.
In 2000 he switch to the Swiss Hutless team of Blanken
tuning, but after a lack of sponsoring, he decided to stop
as an active driver during the season and started to coach
young talented drivers. |
In 2002 he has worked for the Trulli kart factory team,
runned by Team Koene. With Carlo van Dam as first driver,
they took fourth place in the World Karting Championship
Formula SuperA.
In 2003 he moved to the PDB Racing Team and worked with
several top drivers, like Aaron Lim from Malaysia and Aleksi
Mustonen from Finland.
With Aarom Lim he won the Asian Championship and with the
Finnish driver Aleksi Mustonen he won the Finnish
Championship.
In 2005 Willemjan worked the first time with the new Zanardi
equipment. As mechanic and coach of the Dutch top driver
Nigel Melker they won the German Championship and was
runner-up in the European Final race. They also compete in 6
of the 9 rounds of the Dutch Championship, where they won 5
of.
Because the success and the satisfaction of the Zanardi
equipment, he started in 2006 to import the Zanardi karts
for the Netherlands and the Keijzer Racing company had
founded. Besides importing the Zanardikart, Keijzer Racing
is dealer of IAME Parilla racing engines and Sparco Race
wear. |
